Western Avenue Association & BID Board Minutes

Western Avenue’s roots go back to the days of historic Route 66 and the founding of Nichols Hills. Western Avenue is surrounded by beautiful, older neighborhoods that offer an abundance of charm and heritage to our area.

Crown Heights and Nichols Hills are two neighborhoods that were founded in the early 1920’s and 1930’s…these areas were and still are considered to be where Oklahoma City’s elite resides.

In fact, the area on Western Avenue between NW 36th & NW 50th Streets is a historic preservation district. You’ll love driving down Western Avenue any time of year and experience a beautiful, clean and crisp area – unlike any other area in the Oklahoma City area.
